The Pteroraptor is an extant species of dinosaur related to the Oviraptor family, which survived the K-Pg extinction and has persisted in hiding from humans on a group of islands in the remote Pacific Ocean.

The book Redfeather explores what happened when humans discover the Pteroraptor (Saberbeak as they call themselves) sanctuary and make first contact with the residents of the island.

The graphic novel Graniteclaw (in progress) is the story of a Pteroraptor that lived at the time of the extinction of the non-avian dinosaurs.
