I dream in CMYK

Whatever your idea or budget, we can work together to make your vision a print-ready reality

Textbook illustration

I have nearly twenty years of experience in text book publishing, having illustrated books from grade school to graduate level, and in subject areas from human anatomy to biology and geology. I never say no to projects involving dinosaurs.

Medical-legal illustration

I can create client-specific illustrations for your personal injury or malpractice cases to both inform the jury (who often don’t have experience with hospital images) as well as gain sympathy for the affected individual. I can work directly with medical experts to ensure accuracy and admissibility in court.

Patient education

Illustrations can help patients understand surgical procedures they or a loved one are planning to have, or explain how a medication works in the body.

Grants and journals

An illustration in your journal article or grant, customized to your research, can emphasize your findings and intents of your future studies. It could be more affordable than you think!

Licensable work

Illustrations shown below are owned by the artist and available for non-exclusive licenses, contact me for more information.

The Process

Your idea

Share your vision, I am here to make it reality. Send sample images along the lines of the content and style you hope to see.

“Pencil” sketches

They’re still called that, but I create my sketch phase digitally. Your approval then leads to the final colored render.

Delivered art

I send you the finalized art.

Oops, do you see something you want fixed? A round of corrections is included so long as nothing new is added from the original art manuscript / instructions.
